Selection Criteria
Wie in Abbildung 11 zu sehen ist, mussten Patienten bestimmte Auswahlkritierien erfüllen,[1] um am Barnes-QI-Programm teilnehmen zu können:
- Zweimalige Einweisung ins Krankenhaus innerhalb eines Jahres mit einer COPD-Exazerbation;
- COPD-GOLD-Stadium 2, 3 oder 4[2];
- BODE (Body-Mass-Index, Atemwegs-Obstruktion, Dyspnoe und körperliche Leistungsfähigkeit)-Index-Score von ≥ 5[6];
- Blutgasanalyse, die eine von 3 Kriterien erfüllt: Sauerstoffpartialdruck (pO2) ≤ 60 mmHg; CO2-Partialdruck (pCO2) ≥ 52 mmHg; oder FEV1 < 40 %.
