Relationship Between Lowest Nocturnal Oxygen and ST-depression
FIG. 47: Following on from the data in the previous Figure from an individual patient, this Figure represents data illustrating ST depression in relation to the severity of nocturnal desaturation in a cohort of patients with obstructive apnea.[35] What that data show is that, as the oxygen level falls more severely during sleep, there is likely to be an ST segment depression, and this may be likely to manifest as chest pain that wakes the patient from sleep.
