Treatment Emergent CSA (TE-CSA)
FIG. 31: Having reviewed Op-CSA in the preceding Figures, we now move to treatment-emergent CSA (TE-CSA). In patients with OSA and a higher loop gain, while acute treatment with CPAP resolves obstructive events, it may result in the emergence, persistence, or worsening of CSA, a phenomenon that has been referred to as TE-CSA.[23-25]
