Data Summary

This Figure shows the report of the second sleep study, with an AHI of 58 and 85% central respiratory events. These occurred during wakefulness with a low PaCO₂ setting of 38 mmHg, but also a very high response to CO₂ with breathing. As shown in the two graphs (lower tracings), he had increases in both his central and ventilatory responses to CO₂.
