FIG 2: The final case in this series looks at the myocardium in sleep disturbance.  The patient was a 59-year-old man with a history marked only with hypertension, treated with an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB).  His medical history was marked by a cardiac arrest due to ventricular fibrillation related to coronary artery disease with a single-vessel (LAD) thrombus and stenosis.  After thrombectomy, the cardiologist inserted a stent and the patient was released to recover from his acute cardiac arrest.
