As seen in the CPAP device report in this Figure, this patient was experiencing a high level of residual respiratory events at this point.  Initially he was reporting only 2 respiratory events per hour; but now he was experiencing an average of 34.4 events per hour, mainly central events in central sleep apnea (CSA), but also with a certain amount of Cheyne-Stokes respiration (CSR).
