FIG 7: Putting the results together, we found a total of 35 apneas and hypopneas per hour, indicating moderate-to-severe sleep apnea with a majority of central breathing disturbances (21) and a minority of obstructive breathing disturbances (14).  This led to a reduction in slow-wave sleep and REM sleep.
