FIG. 30:  In North America and the European Union about 2% of all bladder cancer cases are considered to be adenocarcinoma, but there is a higher rate of glandular differentiation in some 50%.[7,11]  One subgroup, urachal carcinoma, comprises some 10% of all adenocarcinomas.[18]  These patients with urachal carcinomas are usually younger, and almost half of them are female.
