FIG. 29:  In conclusion, where there is a shortage of BCG, prediction of response on an individual level is not yet possible in daily practice.  Safe use of less BCG and a less intense schedule with respect to the number of instillations, a shorter treatment time, or a lower dose is possible, although it may lead to a few more recurrences, but not more progression. Combination or sequential therapy may be used, but probably not in high-grade T1 disease.
