Overall Survival in Claudin-low and Basal Tumor subsets
FIG. 27: This Figure illustrates the dramatic difference in overall survival between claudin-low and basal tumors.[19] Claudin-low tumors responded very poorly to neoadjuvant chemotherapy, whereas basal tumors responded well to neoadjuvant chemotherapy. In the basal and luminal infiltrative tumors shown on the right of the Figure there was no significant difference in their responses to neoadjuvant chemotherapy.
