FIG. 19: A group from Nijmegen (The Netherlands) has shown good results from application of a 5-gene model to predict the probability of progression in patients with pT1 tumor.[13] It provides the opportunity to predict whether these patients would do better with cystectomy instead of preservation of the bladder and putting the patient at risk.
