FIG. 15:  There are a number of classification criteria for non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer, but fundamentally they all rank patients as to low- to high-risk, meaning either risk of recurrence or risk of progression to more advanced disease.  There are many overlapping criteria; this Figure is based on the two principal grading systems issued by the WHO in 1973[16] and 2004.[17]
