Deaths Related to Diabetes

Diabetes is the seventh leading cause of death listed on United States death certificates.[2]  Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death among people with diabetes, with about 68% of people with diabetes dying of heart disease or stroke.  The overall risk for death among people with diabetes is about double that of people without diabetes.  Harms D.
