Guidelines on Muscle-invasive and Metastatic Bladder Cancer
FIG. 7: The EAU guidelines on muscle-invasive bladder cancer[2] include a list of variant pathologies that should be considered and a short reference to classes of potentially variant histology. However, despite its importance, there is little information, which is due to a lack of evidence on this topic. The EAU guidelines panels pick up any topic as soon as evidence becomes available, but if it is not yet available, there is little to discuss or make recommendations about in published guidelines.
